FUL

It's the ultimate Egyptian dish. You can get ful sandwiches on every street corner in Cairo (...and we'll be honest it's the best there). We love to make a pot of ful for Sunday family brunch.

TOTAL TIME: 20 mins
serves: 3
METHOD

INGREDIENTS
-
1 can of fava beans (290g)
-
1 tbsp clarified butter
-
2 tsp cumin
-
2 medium size tomatoes
-
1/2 lemon
-
80g persley
-
salt & pepper
1. Cook the ful for about 15 mins on high temperature and add a cup of water.

2. Meanwhile, chop the parsley and tomatoes.
3. First add butter and then cumin to the ful. Then add the lemon. Add salt & pepper, season to taste.
4. On low temperate add the tomatoes and take it from the heat after 3mins. Mix in the parsley.

Serve some bread to the ful.
