HOME-MADE ICE TEA

The ginger and lemon make our home-made ice tea healthy and refreshing. 

TOTAL TIME: 30 min

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  • 2L water 

  • 50g ginger

  • 1 squeezed lemon

  • 2 tea bags of black tea 

  • (optional) 4 tbsp of brown sugar

1. Peel the ginger.

2. in a pot, boil the water with the ginger and lemon for about 15mins.

​

3. on low temperature, add the tea bags and brew for 5mins. (optional: and add the sugar so that it dissolves)

​

4. sieve the tea into a jar and let it rest for an hour and then refrigerate. 

​

serve the tea with ice cubes!!!
