SPINACH PIE 

You can serve it either warm or cold. We love to prepare it for summer, serving it with yogurt sauce. 

TOTAL TIME: 60 mins

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

​

2. Prepare a hot pot of water and add the frozen spinach to it until it softens. Sieve the spinach when ready and put it in a bowl. 

​

3. chop the parsley and dill.

​

4. Blend the onion in a moulinex.

​

5. Crumble the feta cheese to the spinach and add the herbs and onion. Add one egg and mix the ingredients using your hands. Season with salt and pepper. 

​

6. Oil one casserole and place the puff pastry. Fill the casserole with the spinach mixture and cover it with the second puff pastry. 

​

7. Mix one egg and brush the pie with it. Before, you put the pie in the oven, cut the pie into pieces. (Optional: you can add some sesame for the topping) 

​

8. Place the pie in the oven for about 30mins until it gets golden brown.

  • 1 BIG ONION 

  • 1 bunch of fresh dill 

  • 1 bunch of fresh parsley

  • 2x270 g puff pastry 

  • oil 

  • salt & pepper
